Shortly after 0330hrs, Rescue 9 was dispatched to assist the Middletown Township Police with lighting the scene of a fatal struck pedestrian hit and run accident on Route 1. Crews were on location until daybreak, while accident investigators searched the scene for any evidence.

After being dispatched to a residential fire alarm activation, E244 arrived to find a fire in the upstairs bathroom of a residence in the unit block of Oxford Court. Crews made quick work of the fire and placed the incident under control a short time later.

On Nov 7, R9 and E244 were dispatched to the Northbound lanes of Route 1 for an accident with injuries. A pickup truck had rear ended a dumpster hauler in the back log of a previous traffic accident. Crews provided patient care as well as traffic and hazards control.
