Shortly after noon, E9 and E244 were dispatched to the area of Hollywood Avenue and S Buckthorn Avenue for downed power lines. E9 and SS244 checked a few residences in the area for possible power issues and awaited PECO's arrival during this busy stormy day.

Rescue 9 was dispatched to Tac Box 88-31 Wednesday evening. Crews battled a basement fire in a 2 story middle of the row dwelling. Crews gained the upper hand by cutting holes in the 1st floor and placing cellar nozzles in service.

Shortly after 0330hrs, Rescue 9 was dispatched to assist the Middletown Township Police with lighting the scene of a fatal struck pedestrian hit and run accident on Route 1. Crews were on location until daybreak, while accident investigators searched the scene for any evidence.

Around 2340hrs, Engine 9 was dispatched on Tactical Box 21-9 for an odor of something burning inside of the Langhorne Cafe. Engine 9's crew assisted Tower 21's crew with checking and secured an HVAC unit on the roof.

After being dispatched to a residential fire alarm activation, E244 arrived to find a fire in the upstairs bathroom of a residence in the unit block of Oxford Court. Crews made quick work of the fire and placed the incident under control a short time later.

Around 1830hrs, Rescue 8 and Rescue 9 were dispatched for a report of an MVA with entrapment at W Lincoln Hy and Hulmeville Ave. Rescue 8 arrived and reported one vehicle on it's side with it's occupant trapped.

On Nov 7, R9 and E244 were dispatched to the Northbound lanes of Route 1 for an accident with injuries. A pickup truck had rear ended a dumpster hauler in the back log of a previous traffic accident. Crews provided patient care as well as traffic and hazards control.

Rescue 9 and Medic 168 were dispatched to the northbound lanes of Route 1 for an MVA with injuries. Deputy 9 and Rescue 9 provided scene safety as Middletown PD and Medic 168 cared for the patients and investigated the incident.

Shortly after 1400hrs, Tactical Box 9-51 was dispatched for a reported dwelling fire. Chief 21 and Chief 9 arrived and reported an odor in the basement. Engine 9's crew reported a minor issue with an appliance and held the assignment to Engine 9 and Tower 21.

Shortly before 0700hrs, companies were transmitted for a reported 2 vehicle MVA with entrapment and fire. DC77 arrived on location and confirmed the reports. E244 arrived and went into service on extinguishing the engine compartment.

At around 1346hrs, R9 was requested to assist EMS and the Middletown FMO with establishing an alternative evacuation point for approximately 100 residents from the Crestview Nursing Home in Langhorne to the Neshaminy High School.

Tac9 arrived on location in the 1000 block of Woodvale Avenue with a large tree down partially into a house, on top of a trailer and with two small fires. Engine and Special Service 244 arrived and stood by as the crews awaited the arrival of PECO.
