Today we mark the anniversary of the loss of one of our own local police officers. On January 29, 2009, Officer Chris Jones was struck and killed by a vehicle while on a traffic stop on Route 1. Officer Jones was posthumously promoted to Detective.

On Saturday April 8, crews from our station joined the Parkland Presbyterian Church at Firefighters Park for the annual Easter Egg Hunt. The Easter Bunny as well as the Uptown String Band made an appearance as kids got to get their face painted and of course participate in the egg hunt.

On Tuesday March 21st, members of the PFC worked with Paramedic Dave Harris with reviewing equipment and apparatus at the Penndel Middletown Emergency Squad. The crew got some hands on training with the Bariatric equipment, electric stretcher, Special Service 168 (Rehab unit) and other items.
