Today we mark the anniversary of the loss of one of our own local police officers. On January 29, 2009, Officer Chris Jones was struck and killed by a vehicle while on a traffic stop on Route 1. Officer Jones was posthumously promoted to Detective.

PFC members participated once again in this year's National Night Out, hosted by the Middletown Township Police Department. Rescue 9 was on display for the public to get a close up look. Crews from PFC as well as Penndel Fire Company simulated a vehicle extrication for the public.
