100th Anniversary Celebration

We would to say Thank You to everyone who came out to visit us and help us celebrate a Century of Service! The day's events kicked off with the bike parade, hosted by the Parkland Presbyterian Church and led by the Uptown String Band. The parade went through town through the mist and concluded at the station where our guest judges picked out the best decorated bikes of the groups. Congratulations to our winners! The festivities continued through the afternoon with our friends and neighbors even as the rains fell.
We would like to say a special Thank You to our food and beverage vendors, Chick-Fil-A, Goodnoe's Ice Cream, United States of Crepes, Jay's Joint Steaks, SumPig BBQ, Javelin Caterers and Pat Deon Beverages.
Without your support, our special day would not have been possible!

The officers and members of the Parkland Fire Company regret to announce the passing of retired Middletown Township Police Department Sergeant Mark Wert, who passed away on December 1, 2021. Sergeant Wert served with the Middletown Township Police Department for 33 years.

This year’s FPW campaign, “Learn the Sounds of Fire Safety!” works to educate everyone about the different sounds the smoke and carbon monoxide alarms make. Knowing what to do when an alarm sounds will keep you and your family safe.

Members worked on some extrication skills with a recently acquired vehicle. Crews were able to use hydraulic tools, pneumatic tools and windshield removal tools to refresh their skills.

Members from PFC and some neighboring companies completed their Pump 1 training over the weekend. Crews completed 2 classroom sessions and a practical session. The students were able to demonstrate their skills of drafting and flowing masterstreams.

Members of PFC trained on a steamy night on quick handline deployment, establishing a water supply as well as supporting the water supply at the hydrant.

PFC along with other agencies participated in the annual National Night Out at the Middletown Township Building. Crews displayed their apparatus as well as performed an auto extrication demo. Thank you to the Middletown Township Police for the invite as well as those who stopped by to say hi.

Members from PFC as well as some of our neighboring departments completed the Firefighter Survival Course. This course started with a few classroom sessions followed by some rigorous hands on scenarios teaching members techniques on getting out of some unthinkable situations.
